The City of Knoxville will hold a ribbon cutting for the completion of their 24 electric vehicle charging stations and two accompanying solar arrays.  The event will take place at the Civic Coliseum Parking Garage (across from the Knoxville Station Transit Center) on Thursday, September 27th at 10:00AM.  Mayor Madeline Rogero and Dr. Tom Mason, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, will speak.

The event will be celebrating the completion of the City’s involvement in the Electric Vehicle Project, a DOE Initiative managed by ECOtality.  Onsite will be a solar array, six electric vehicle charging stations, a number of electric vehicle,s and many professionals and administrators who can answer any questions you have about solar energy, electric vehicles and the EV Project.  The City is very proud to have been a part of this great project.  We hope to see you there!
